Proposed Building Scaled Down Near Providence’s N. Main Street

PROVIDENCE — The plan for the second phase of the Edge College Hill development on Canal Street has been changed to reduce the height in the section of the building near North Main Street from seven to five stories, and this scaled-back design won conceptual approval Monday night from the Downtown Design Review Committee.
